FAQs
We’re here to answer all your burning questions!

We definitely recommend it! Especially for Reformer, as classes often fill fast.
You can book up to 2 weeks ahead for Reformer and 4 weeks for Mat, so getting in early gives you the best chance of locking in your preferred times. That said, if things look full, don’t stress. Waitlists work really well at Bloom! People cancel, plans change, and spots open up all the time (sometimes same day!). Pop yourself on the list and you’ll likely get the spot.
Whether you’re an early planner or a last minute legend, there’s always a way to get moving with us!

-
For first timers, we recommend you arrive around 10 minutes before class to allow enough time for your instructor to make you feel comfortable and to talk over any injuries, including pregnancy.
Once you’re settled in and attending Bloom on the regular, we ask that you arrive around 5 minutes before class. There are areas in the studio for storing your keys and other small personal items. You can then find yourself a spot in the studio where you feel most comfortable!
-
All you need is a sweat towel and a drink bottle, and you’re good to go!
-
Anything you feel comfortable moving in! We recommend breathable, supportive activewear like stretchy tights and layers you can move in easily.
All classes are done barefoot or in grip socks (no shoes needed).
-
Yes. We recommend grippy socks for all classes. However, bare feet in the Mat Room are fine through summer (though your toes will thank you for socks in winter!).
We have a range of fun designs available in the studio, for just $20 per pair!
-
Our cancellation policy requires 8 hours notice before the class start time. This helps us manage the waitlist and give others a chance to jump in.
If you cancel within 8 hours, you’ll be charged a $10 late cancellation fee. If you don’t show up and haven’t cancelled, it’s a $20 no show fee.
We understand that life can be unpredictable. If something outside your control arises, just send us a message via text on 0483 901 939, through the app, or email us at hello@bloombarre.com.au. We’re always happy to help where we can.
Please note: we don’t monitor Facebook or Instagram messages for cancellations.

Pilates & barre has been designed for anyone aged 16+ and will benefit clients of every fitness level! It is excellent if you’re just getting into exercise as the roots of the class were developed to rehabilitate and strengthen the body.
You’re allowed to take breaks, shake it out, have a drink, shake it out again, then jump back into the routine. The more classes you attend, the more you'll be able to do!

It is recommended that clients with injuries consult with their doctors before beginning any new exercise method. All instructors are highly trained to assist and modify any injuries or limitations. Be sure to let your instructor know before the class begins so they can give you the correct modifications and information to help you throughout the class.
